Despite the narrowing gender gap, women still lag behind men in a critical aspect - financial engagement. They remain largely outside of the financial fold, underserved and unengaged. They lack financial identity.
The objective was to position Kotak Silk as a firm supporter of financial independence for women. Introducing #HauslonKiUdaan, an International Women’s Day campaign video celebrating the bold and unconventional career choices made by women. The campaign highlighted real-life stories of courage and resilience of women who have the courage to break stereotypes and choose unconventional careers which make them financially independent. The social film was inspired by Taniya Sanyal, India’s first woman firefighter Kotak Silk powered the engine of financial inclusion and societal empowerment for women through this campaign.
